Agents & Partnerships
Why must an agent listing be saved before attaching photos?
Photos need to be associated with a specific saved listing. Save the basic draft, then use its image controls.
Give the photographs a listing to belong to
Save the basic property draft before attaching images. The saved listing provides the record with which the photographs can be associated. Preparing files on your computer or selecting them in a file picker is not the same as storing them against that record.
Work in a deliberate order
Enter enough accurate information to recognise the property, save the draft and then open its image controls. Check that you are editing the intended listing, particularly if several properties have similar names. Upload only photographs you are authorised to use and review the result before moving to another task.
Check the saved result
Look for the images within the listing itself rather than relying only on an upload notification. Confirm their order and featured selection where those controls are offered. If something fails, keep the draft reference and the displayed error for support. Do not create a second property record simply to retry an image upload.
Practical considerations
- Save and identify the draft first.
- Check image rights before uploading.
- Review photographs in the correct listing.
- Keep the error message if an upload fails.
