How is listing review different from saving a draft?

Save Draft preserves preparation; Submit for Review is a separate action on a saved listing and does not publish it.

Save the basic listing first, then add images and check descriptions, references and rights. On the saved listing use Submit for Review only when ready. The control requires a saved listing ID; editable states in this form include draft, submitted, rejected and archived, not every status.

Inspect the resulting status and feedback. Correct the existing record rather than creating duplicates or claiming a review submission is public approval. If the UI prevents edits in the current status, ask the team how to make the correction without bypassing the restriction.

Practical considerations

  • Keep unpublished drafts private.
  • Review is not guaranteed acceptance.
  • Do not change status outside the authorised controls.
