How should I report suspected duplicate property listings?
As a practical reporting suggestion, collect both listing references and observable similarities, excluding client data. The agent portal does not implement a dedicated duplicate-listing report form.
Gather factual references
Keep both listing references and note matching photographs, exteriors or descriptions. This is suggested evidence preparation, not an automated duplicate detection or adjudication process.
Keep the review contained
Contact the team with both listing references and ask which review channel to use. Do not edit another agent's record, contact their clients or publish allegations in order to resolve the question yourself. Exclude client names, private messages and other personal information unless the team specifically requests relevant evidence through a suitable channel.
Separate reporting from editing
If one listing is yours, identify it and ask whether a change is needed. The listing form supports draft/review editing, but the inspected code does not prescribe a duplicate investigation, ownership decision or removal outcome.
Practical considerations
- Keep both listing references as suggested report evidence.
- Describe observable similarities without alleging misconduct.
- Exclude client information from an initial duplicate concern.
- Do not assume a duplicate-review or removal process is available in the listing editor.
