Website & Account Support

Can reading a FAQ answer reserve a villa or send a message?

No. Reading or searching the Information Centre is separate from making an enquiry or booking. Use the existing property or rental process for those actions.

Reading and acting are separate

Opening a FAQ answer or searching the Information Centre is a way to read published guidance. It does not submit your question to a property owner, create an offer, reserve a villa or complete a rental booking. A useful answer may explain the next step, but it does not carry out that step for you.

If you want a reply about a particular property, open its page and use the enquiry process provided. If you want to arrange a stay or purchase, follow the relevant process and review the information presented at each stage.

Check the action you actually completed

A saved page, saved search or account dashboard item should not be treated as a reservation unless the relevant process explicitly confirms that outcome. Likewise, seeing information while signed in does not mean someone has received a message from you.

Look for the specific confirmation associated with an enquiry or booking action, and retain it for reference. If you are unsure what a confirmation means, ask through the official contact route before making travel plans or assuming a property is being held.

Practical considerations

  • Use the property process for an enquiry.
  • Do not equate saved items with reservations.
  • Check the meaning of any confirmation.
