Selling Property
How should I prepare a property for photographs?
Present the property honestly, with clear rooms and images of its actual condition. Good preparation improves clarity without hiding defects or overstating inclusions.
Remove personal paperwork, family photographs and valuables from view. Tidy surfaces and make access safe before photography. Include useful angles of living areas, outdoor spaces and the approach, not only decorative details. Tell the photographer which areas are private or excluded from the sale. If photographs show furnishings that will be removed, disclose that in the listing. Avoid edits that alter the view, dimensions or condition of the building. Confirm who owns each photograph and whether you have permission to publish it. Keep sensitive documents out of public marketing and provide them privately to appropriate advisers.
