All articles are produced by the CreteAisland editorial team — a mix of in-house writers, local advisors, real estate professionals and relocation specialists based in or working closely with Crete. Sourcing & accuracy
- Pricing data for Kounali Mountain Resort and listed villas is fetched live from our internal owner / agent dashboards rather than estimated.
- Legal, tax and Golden Visa information is reviewed against published Greek government sources (e.g. Enterprise Greece, AADE, the Ministry of Migration & Asylum) and updated when those sources change.
- Travel, beach and restaurant content is based on first-hand visits and verified by local contributors.
- Where a topic is a matter of professional advice (legal, tax, medical, immigration), we explicitly recommend consulting a licensed professional and link to relevant Greek authorities.
Updates & corrections
